Isopropyl Alcohol also known as Isopropanol or IPA is a colourless liquid with a characteristic alcoholic odour. It is completely miscible with most solvents, including water. It is a versatile solvent since it can be used as a cleaner solvent and as a solvent to dissolve most resins. Isopropyl Alcohol as a cleaner is highly effective at cleaning a variety of substrates ranging from normal metal surfaces to very sensitive substrates used in electronics field including computer screen, plastics, rubbers, seals, cables, fiber optics, keypads, circuit boards and general electrical equipment. It cleans nicely leaving no residues behind. Since it is also anhydrous (without water) means it scavenges water off surfaces which helps to dry surfaces thoroughly.

Due to wide variance in the types and quality of materials to be cleaned it is always advisable to assess the suitability of the product by conducting a small test on an inconspicuous area before conducting large scale applications. Ensure that all electrical equipment is switched off before cleaning. Apply some Isopropyl Alcohol on a rag and wipe onto the surface to be cleaned. Repeat if necessary, until all of the contaminants are removed. Allow solvent to evaporate completely before operating the equipment. Isopropyl Alcohol is hygroscopic which means it can absorb moisture from air therefore recap the container immediately after use to avoid moisture absorption.
Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye / face protection when using this product. Avoid breathing of vapour and mist. Provide adequate ventilation when using in confined spaces. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
